I believe that highly effective leaders build strong and effective educational systems which are responsible for the success of our nation’s schools. Leaders create a culture of success and a focus on student progression and learning through distributed leadership.

I have 34 years in education as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal of a “turnaround” school. Through my experiences and training, I have learned what best practices are needed to improve schools and increase student achievement. As a performance consultant on the GLISI team, my role is to listen first and then work with districts/schools to determine specific needs (school and district) and plan additional training based on the needs identified.
