Jinnie Schmid

Program Manager, Instructional Design

I believe in “beginning with the end in mind” and “going slow to go fast.” I believe that thoughtful visioning, elegant design, blended solutions, and “right tech” is essential to our success improving student achievement and organizational effectiveness. I believe that bringing positive change to public education is challenging work, but fundamentally important, and it is a privilege to be involved. I believe that we can be professional and still have fun, care about each other, and express our individuality.

I bring to GLISI 20 years experience as a practitioner and consultant in training and performance improvement. I combine my expertise in adult education (design, development, and delivery) with my creativity and eye for detail, to craft solutions that reflect the excellence of GLISI’s brand. My knowledge of best practices from the business sector allows me to provide “critical friend” feedback on our work. My passion for people enables me to work effectively with a wide variety of teammates, vendors, partners and participants.
